The Detroit Ensemble Theatre was established in 1996 by Rich Goteri, former Artsistic Director of The Second City. He wanted to find a home where professional actors could train and perform. The company has grown in the past 11 years and is currently waiting approval of their 501c non for profit status.
Along with Rachel Bellack, Hobart Reynolds and Michele Wilson, D.E.T. is currently working out of their own 40 seat blackbox theatre in Warren Michigan. The space has an entire second floor complete with training center, dressing rooms, kitchen and office space.
D.E.T. also offers classes and workshops of all kinds including acting, improv, corporate training and writing. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
